This Deck is Similar to the old wall priest, which is create tons of taunt minions to stall or to take board tempo, but now with the help of priest quest card, Activate the Obelisk, with synergy to Mass Resurrection and Catrina Muerte, will resurrect taunt and also pump the health to stall and take the game away from aggro and other mid-range deck.

It became popular with the emergence of the Face Hunter and Pirate Warrior which it the perfect counter to the said decks.

Key Cards

Activate the Obelisk -is similar to Lesser Heal in function, but includes the added benefit of buffing minions by a large amount for a relatively low cost.

Mass Resurrection – reviving taunt Minion for stalling and board presence

Catrina Muerte –  likely as possible to revive a powerful minion rather than a weak one. Do whatever you can to keep her alive as long as possible, as the longer she’s able to keep reviving minions, the more trouble she’ll spell for your opponent.

Zerek’s Cloning Gallery – with this card you can create multiple copies of minion in deck and a reload with revive mechanic

Batterhead  – best against flood – type decks such as token druid. It can be used as a budget Baron Geddon. Play it when the opponent has nearly a full board for maximum value.

Archmage Vargoth – has immense potential, but also requires planning to make sure you get the most out of his effect. In general it’s a smart idea to only cast one spell per turn when Vargoth is on the field; that way, you’re 100% guaranteed to duplicate the spell you wanted like Zerek’s Cloning Gallery or removal spells and Mass Resurrection

Psychopomp – can create situations where it generates a ton of tempo. On top of reviving a minion with full health, the addition of Reborn makes it more stubborn to remove. It can be used to revive powerful minion like Convincing Infiltrator or Archmage Vargoth.

Convincing Infiltrator – A solid combination of stats with Taunt as well as potent Deathrattle. Because of this minion’s high health and low attack, your opponent will almost always be able to choose when its Deathrattle activates. Try to play this when your opponent only has large or medium minions, increasing the chance that it hits a valuable target.

Mulligan Guide

Aggro – Activate the Obelisk, Breath of the Infinite, Penance, Convincing Infiltrator, Mass Hysteria, Forbidden Words, Zilliax

Slow – Penance, Activate the Obelisk, Breath of the Infinite, Archmage Vargoth, Zerek’s Cloning Gallery, Convincing Infiltrator

Main Goal and Strategy

The main goal is staying alive by taunt minions help also by pump health and attacks of the minions after completing the quest. This deck reacts to whatever the opponent throws on the board. In Mirror case or slow games it will be a good idea to cast Zerek’s Cloning Gallery to create a good pool of minion that can be revived later on
